MilSpouse Blog Hop =)

Hello All!! I found out about this blog hop through Riding the Roller Coaster and I thought it was a great idea, so I decided to participate.
So, a little about me...........
My name is Danielle Marie Hampmire. I am 28 fixin' to be 29, and I decided that the clock stops there. I am a daughter, sister, best friend, friend, mother, and a Pharmacy Tech student. I love tanning, getting my nails done, and just being a girl . I curse like a sailor (I am trying to cut down, believe it or not). I love slushees from Sonic, and I am addicted to General Hospital everyday.
Now for a little bit about my family:
I am married to my best friend and the love of my life, Christopher Hampsmire (a Sgt. in the U.S. Army). We have been married since January 26th, 2002, but we have been together since November 5th, 1999. Together, we have faced three deployments, and two PCS moves. I love him more than life itself, and there is nothing that him and I can't face together. Our greatest accomplishment together, however, is them.....
These are our daughters Megan is 8 and Madisyn is 2. They are the light of our lives.
Well, there you have it. My family is the core of my existence. I strive everyday to be the best mother and wife I possibly can be. I hope you enjoy my blog. I don't post nearly as often as I would like to, but I will try to work on that, I promise!!!!

Been Out for FAR too long..............

Hey Guys!!!
I know I have not blogged in what seems like forever, but the truth is, I have. I have blogged quite a bit lately, but I have been keeping them private. Maybe one day I will publish them, maybe I won't .
We have had a lot go on in the Hampsmire house lately. We have had holidays, and birthdays, and times when I thought that the next time I published something,I would be single. However, that is not the case. My husband and I are doing great at the moment. I have a new found respect for him and what he does.I love him more than words could ever describe.
I am getting ready to go in for Gastric Bypass ssurgery sometime in April or early May. I am excited as all get out, but scared as hell at the same time. So I will be blogging a lot about my journey with that whole process.
Anyway, I just wanted you guys to know that I am still here. I intend to get back to blogging (and publishing) at least a couple times a week. For now though, my husband is on hos way home from ten days in VA and I need to get this God-forsaken house clean. LOL
I WILL talk to you later.
